Our team "AlphaX" has immersed victory in the online Hackathon "CodeRush"
organized by INTECS, University of Moratuwa. I was the team leader and we were able to win
first place in both Hackrrank challenge and Ideathon.

IESL Techno Hackathon-Xtreme organized by IESL Student Chapter - University
of Moratuwa was held on the 12th of October at BMICH Premises.Hackathon was based on
problem-solving in the Hackerrank platform, representing 8 leading State universities. Had a
nice experience as the first hackathon.

A comprehensive travel planer that allows service providers to register verify via email
and advertise their offerings. Implemented admin controls for approvals and payment
management (via PayPal) while providing customers with personalized suggestions
using an algorithm based on user preferences. Utilized ReactJS for the front end,
ASP.NET for the backend, and deployed on Azure with CI/CD.

Developed a Spring Boot-based microservices architecture for an online shop,
handling product catalog, order processing, inventory management, and email
notifications. Synchronous communication between services using Feign clients and
asynchronous messaging with Kafka. MongoDB and MySQL for data storage, secured
services with Keycloak, and ensured observability with Grafana and Prometheus.
Containerized services with Docker and managed them using Docker Compose.

Developed and deployed a Dash-based web app to visualize stock data and predict
closing prices using an SVR model. The app generates dynamic plots of stock prices
and exponential moving averages for user-input stock codes. Deployed on AWS EC2
with Flask, Gunicorn, and Nginx for production. Integrated Yahoo Finance API for
real-time data.

Umbrella dryer and locker was developed by our team "AlphaX" for the Level 01 hardware project course module. It includes many features to dry wet umbrellas and to secure each umbrella until the customer is done shopping. My part of the work to design and implement RFID releasing unit. We used atmega32a microcontrollers and avr programming environment.
